This is the Ranunculus Aconitifolius. It is nicknamed "Silver button" because of its whiteness (unlike its cousin, the "Buttercup flower" whose flowers are yellow as the sun).
It prefers secluded and shady spots.

Here is a Caltha Palustris, a perennial plant that bears large bright golden yellow flowers.

This is Dryas Octopetala. I first wanted to use the Dryad from Greek mythology as a reference, but it was difficult to represent it well. When I read the Dryas Octopetala's description, I noticed that it was a cold loving flower. This is with this idea that I did this illustration.

The "Artemisia Eriantha" is a high moutain plant, mainly used to fabricate genepi's liqueur. There are several types of genepi but they aren't all used to make liqueur. Only the most aromatic species are used. I made it a monk by thinking of the "Elixir des Pères Chartreux", prepared by monks.

Here is Petrocallis Pyrenaica, a plant that forms tufts with little 4-petals flowers. This trailing plant use rocks' cracks to grow. This plant can be found in moutains at an altitude of more than 2 000 meters. I looked what I could make it do, and I end up drawing a shepherd faun.

I hope everyone had a good year. Mine was filled with demotivation, but it's not like I did nothing at all either. I painted some cards I have and don't use, I recycled papers and I made one fanart for Yatuu's serie called "Erika and the princes in distress" to celebrate the futurr 3rd volume.
