What? A useful purpose of waiting is that Trump won't be able to abuse the new powers you insist on giving him.

I'd consider that of paramount importance.

Call your officials now, and add this to the list of things to vote them out for if they support it.

Thank you.

This is defaulting to everyone being treated as a criminal by assuming complicity regardless of whether they reasonably could have known that their services were being misused.

If you thought Internet speed was important to Net Neutrality, this is a fucking Thanos strike.

We do DESPERATELY need to hold platforms accountable to react and review issues promptly when reported (which many of them CLEARLY are not interested in doing!), and require them to have some common-sense automated monitoring for severe abuses! But this is not what that looks like!

3) Heck, even things like end to end encryption for private conversations (like text messaging your partner or your boss) will become significant legal hazards for carrier services to allow.

2) crowdsourced media (think
Reddit and Wikipedia) will similarly have to comprehensively surveil everything and volunteers will lose confidence in the safety of participation (again likely affecting the free model).

I got lost too (thanks Random Jeweler!).

this is the realest shit ever posted and when you become a parent you spend a lot of time internally screaming about it
People who argue "who cares it's just for kids" all I can say is fuck right off. Kids deserve thoughtful, well-made movies that challenge them just as much as adults do. Kids aren't stupid, and they remember how movies affect them basically forever.

The film camera thing caught me off guard when I first heard about it. But having done film photography as a kid myself and now using a phone camera with NO manual option to even turn on the flash when I need it (which is quite often for work), I can honestly see the appeal!

I really enjoy seeing the stuff the “kids these days” are rediscovering and finding value in.

They get beat up too much on the internet. Just like for us Xillennials, it’s largely for lacking skills that are *taught* or for not having traditional hobbies that are increasingly inaccessible.

I had no idea this was a thing!

The top could be two rope braids pinned on top of each other before somehow joining for the bottom section (or there’s a second tail we don’t see in the photo). I think there would definitely need to be fillers to get that level of volume if trying to fully replicate it.

Waow!

I did misread! D: Thank you both for being polite about it!

Ugh I misread it! I’ll delete, thanks for calling me out! D:

Wait I thought they were still hating each other. Does this mean the bromance is back on?

loneliness and depression and stuff are viewed as just a natural state of being for a woman because of patriarchy, while men, because of tha the accompanying toxic masculinity, are not supposed to feel sad. Therefore, men feeling sad is a problem. Women feeling sad is just another Thursday night.
December 12, 2025 at 4:13 AM
Hmm. I’d take a slightly more sinister interpretation: it’s not even about whether lonely women “deserve” it: lonely women are “supposed” to *accept* it.
They aren’t even supposed to worry about making themselves not lonely:

First thing I checked. Reality keeps fooling me these days.

He’s stopped eight wars?
Perry sure last month he was saying teens to twenties.

It’s encouraging to hear that professionals struggle too. 🥲

“The exact circumstances around the search… are not known.”

Not a lawyer but unless the circumstances are that he had already been served with notice to not do that, I’m pretty sure it’s legal to wipe his (Or a friend’s , etc. if they asked him to) phone.

I am so on the fence between needing more context to see how bad this gets and embracing how glorious this is without any context at all.
