But to say he is simply a killer wouldn't be accurate, either. He knows he was once incapable of this: and with that, there is a sense of shame. He tries to dampen this bloodlust, so that no one needs to be afraid of him. Because he knows it isn't right. But it is the one opponent he cannot kill.

It feels good to burn so hot that nothing can touch you. To get lost in the warm splash of blood; the satisfying sound of a sharp edge sliding gracefully between bone, muscle, and sinew. It is mesmerizing. Captivating. He knows he is powerful, and that...he would not change. Even if he could.

As his creator I can imagine different ways he mightve lived. Peacefully - with harm being the furthest thing from his mind. He was destined to be gentle, but life just had other plans. And now he craves the violence. In a way that disturbs *and* overjoys him. He suppresses it. Bc it feels wrong.

Would he change it? That's complicated. I feel like the soul he has is not inclined towards violence. Many before him couldn't be pushed to such extremes. But to love something means you have the power to destroy everything, and he is very much that person. He could have been gentle, but life wasn't
