I’ve always tended to agree with you re: selection of Trossard in previous years but a) he’s clearly upped the levels this season and b) you can’t deny his output, especially in a team that isn’t exactly brimming with open play goals

He was seen as a dinosaur because his teams kicked the shit out of people. He’s got more in common with Eddie Howe than Mikel Arteta.

Don’t agree at all that it was a poor performance. We showed Palace a lot of respect and Glasner is a top coach. You need your game breaking talents to win these. And we had Eze.

While Odegaard is injured it’s always going to be either Trossard / Martinelli off the left. Martinelli started v Atleti and generally seems to play well in the Champions League. It’s either that, or Merino in midfield 🤷
