🔥 ☢️ Another Doomsday in the books. My character look really makes me miss playing a Barbarian/berserker subclass in d&d (friends & I had a homebrew game for a few years where I was a duelist/berserker & I found that combo really fun). I hope everyone who came out had a blast.

Michaels is adding a cut by the yard trim section (at least at my local store). This is really going to help me & other cosplayers still have accessibility on our supplies. It looks like they’ve bought out JoAnn’s stock.

Well this really fell off. I’ve taken almost no progress photos since bc I’ve been so nose to the grindstone working on her. I finished the lighting tonight & I’m cleaning up the wig tomorrow & then she’s done. The only other pictures I’ve taken have been part of the wig process. Whoops.

Sleeves, skirt & shirt are all cut & patterned & most of the vinyl is patterned, cut & applied. Sleeves are partly interfaced to give them structure for when my arms are raised. Ive attached a waistband to the skirt since this picture. A little sad my opalescent HTV yellowed when it was ironed down?

🌊 Was invited to my friends’ ocean themed birthday party where costumes were encouraged. So I threw together “Sailor” Neptune. (I was amused by my idea, because I never pun). Don’t worry, it hopefully will never happen again🫡

Yuletide Monsters art gallery opens tonight at Gallery 5. I created a Krampus piece that is a headdress & a neck corset, on display

Friends did a group & ofc I had to be the bat.
Ears by Idolatre (I love these. They’re so lightweight & stayed on perfectly all day). Got to use the last bit of my Dimitrescu daughter fabric for this. I have about a 5x5 inch scrap square left 🖤

🦇🍷Been working on her all week but she’s done. A little bummed I didn’t finish her earlier to wear to the vampire ball, but I had so many things on my plate this week between work & other commitments I’m just glad I got the gown done in time for the last day or Rennfaire with friends. 🖤
