My audio equipment was all safe so I may be retrieving those from the house tomorrow to record while I'm staying at a hotel. (2/2)

could always do youtube streaming if you're having issues with twitch! A lot of my friends stream to both twitch and youtube at the same time and then fall back on one or the other in case one of the services is having issues. twitch has been having quite a few issues recently the past month or so

that tells me they're not above using ai voice over either, as well as just overall being hypocritical in terms of how they treat different types of artists whether it's writers, actors or illustrators. sounds like you avoided a potential bullet to be honest.

Not to mention the reason certain ips might not allow an actor to do character improv at cons or not allow recorded versions of them doing it is sometimes for legal reasons too. So even if nintendo didn't allow him to it's not any different than what other actors have to do during con appearances.

I love Ayami's style and even though your art is not the same I can absolutely still see the inspiration behind it. you made it uniquely yours yet with influence and that makes it so beautiful.

There's etiquette on joining rosters and doing auditions. Demanding to be part of someone's project and harassing the cast/crew is a sure fire way to guarantee you won't get cast in the first place. the amount of people who think they're guaranteed a spot on a show just cause they're a fan is yikes.

directors if they have the money can secure studio time in other states or countries for their talent but it's rare that they do so usually it's on the talent to do it. the quality would still vary though if using multiple different professional studios the same as it would for remote home studios.

Like nit picking someone because maybe their mic is brighter than some of the other people on the project is a bit too nitpicky since an engineer can reduce some of that brightness in post with eq. But for quality issues like acoustic treatment or actual issues like noise then that's not that picky.

There's a point where it can be too nitpicky. But if there are glaring issues i.e fan noise, background noises, buzzes, ect then those issues do need to be resolved. But if the quality is that important they could work with a studio to record people in studio so that everyone sounds the same.

This sounds fun! Would it cost anything to participate in the competition?
