This was the post I needed to show up on my feed.

I don't know what the people in the area are going to do for the 4th, especially my neighbors, who have Trump banners on the storage garage for their fireworks.

I know. We're also gerrymandered to hell. (I'm from the area, too)

This has been a head scratcher for my entire life. I always tell people that they aren't rich enough to vote Republican.

Picnics are the fixins, with no expectations of warm food as the main course, but it can be had. It's more on the lighter side with the fixins if there is something warmed served. There's a fine line between picnic and cookout, and the picnic has simple sides and fixins.

My thoughts while reading this....barbecues cook bbq food & burgers and dogs for the kiddos with all of the sides and fixins. Cookouts are just burgers, dogs, maybe some chicken, and fixins.
