I'm also fairly sure the game has a daily allotment of nests similar to money trees and the money rock, so once you go through them you don't have to worry about any more for the whole day

it's been a while since I've played the game so I'm not sure it's been changed but at least during the time I played if you shook a tree from the front with a net out the game would angle you directly towards the nest so you could mash the tool button to catch the wasps without getting stung
