Brick breaker roguelite with settlement building meta-progression in the vein of Loop Hero. Short runs and pick-3 upgrades make it a top contender for games to play when I wanna turn my brain off for a bit

I heard so much good shit about this game when it launched in early access that I assumed it was overhyped. I assumed wrong this is the most fun I've had with climbing mechanics in a game, like, ever. The halloween event was really cool too, and it's still playable as a challenge mode

Finally checking out Arbitrator. It's peak. (AND they've got a new class coming soon I'm eating good)

Neat little first person dungeon crawler in the vein of King's Field Lunacid etc etc. Really fun so far, with some cool boss fights and a neat story. As always with these sorts of games, exploration is the big draw for me and it's really good here.

Playing with Maven. One of the best-feeling action games ever made. I'm gonna finish it this time I swear

Hopped back onto OSRS for sailing and it's been pretty fun so far! I haven't done a ton yet but the massive expansion of the map and the very obvious care that went into making it fit cohesively with OSRS's charming jank is actually so goddamn heartwarming

Newest DLC knocks it out of the park. RoR has never been more back. Most interesting survivor, level, AND boss design out of any of the expacs. This is peak Risk of Rain, and no one can convince me otherwise. Also they put Drifter in the game so I'm biased

One of the best twinstick shooters I've ever played, if not THE best. Unsurprising as it came from a Housemarque alum (Nex Machina, Returnal). First time in a while I've had one of those magical "one more run" experiences with a game. Killer soundtrack, also.
