Well yeah, cuz capitalism. Any opportunity to make money companies are all over it with some sort of snappy advertisement, convincing people there's a problem that only they can solve.

Also Valentine's Day is a Christian observed day remembering a guy that was imprisoned for either marrying people that were forbidden to marry or ministering to people that were prosecuted.
So really it's about compassion and rebellion against the government rather than romantic love.

I make sourdough bread, I love over ripe bananas, dark chocolate, extra old cheese, and a lot of meat substitutes are soy based. 🙃 Do I have all these things everyday? No, but I will probably have one of those things everyday.
