Also gotta kick some art up!
I’ll be posting up some new work over the next few days but wanted to get the Black Friday sale announcement going! Posters and Stickers are 30% off until the end of the week. If you or a loved one also loves games, comics, anime, manga or movies, pick them up something in time for the holidays!

Future auction piece-I spent way too long on this, but it’s because I was having so much fun. Brush on butcher paper is my jam!

Got a little list of characters I'd never drawn before, so tried my hand at Galactus and Silver Surfer!

Both Patreon backers and congoers have had a chance to preview these first, but new Gundam Wing Jet Tags up in the site. They mesh well with tech wear or on a keychain, and the embroidery pops! Kicking them up in the shop today!

Finally had a bit to do something for Street Fighter 6 - any excuse to draw Capcom characters is a good one. The story mode reminded me of some of Rival Schools custom character mode, and its rad to make a character with all my favorite moves!

Been a bit since I've drawn Ryu and Ken! I did a more painterly background in the background for the finished product - bear with the pencils for a sec!

Had a lot of fun with this - getting to play with the Alien's design and tons of gnarled cables and wires is a great way to tune out when I was catching up on Alien: Earth. Tried to play with a more subtle palette too!

Good time to post up this set of Universal Monsters I drew a few years ago. Super proud of this little series!

Getting these inks snuck up before Halloween's over! Love getting lost in the details!

As an incredibly ADHD person, starting and finishing a project is a big metric. Pushing myself during the project to tell the best story I can is another. Getting it in front of as many people as I can's next in the process, and ultimately, that story resonating with the reader is huge.
Comic creators, what is success for you?

For me, it's having built an audience that empowers me to tell a long-form story. By January we'll have completed the equivalent of 35 DM issues of the White Ash Saga. Not many indie series reach those #'s. And we're just getting started.
We're not alone...

One hour left on this oversized (18x24"ish) sketch of Harley with all proceeds going to Mental Health America! Bid is still super reasonable and ends in an hour!

Years ago I had this idea for an Alien with the Terminator skull instead of the head part. A friend sent me an image of a mech Alien sculpt and it inspired me to rock my own version out!

When I first got my PSX, I was obsessed with FF7, but saving up for a $50 game took forever, so I opted for the slightly more affordable Tactics. I saw the job system in Tips & Tricks and had the prerequisites memorized. I went from
Pokemon to FFT - it was brutal. Print here: cheshirecatart.com/shop

Sometimes you just need to play - this was a lot of just exploratory shape building with a mech design. I want to try to do more of this - just figure out a silhouette and start filling it in! If people dig it enough I might make it into a print.

I've been experimenting a bit more here and there - got to noodle with a bunch of tech/mech details and really just ride a groove. Finished piece to go up soon!

I've wanted to draw a Final Fantasy Tactics poster for years - probably close to a decade, but haven't had a good reason. The re-release (which is a total blast) is the reason I've been waiting for! Still coloring this, and more thoughts soon.

Wanted to try two new things: 1) Going back to traditional on a larger scale canvas (on a different medium) to 2) see if you'd like this roughly 18x24" piece on your wall while supporting charity.

Having a blast diving into the Final Fantasy Tactics remaster. I first played it when I was 10 or so, and it was complex, but really rewarding. Running back through it, the story is still as compelling as it ever was. Might take me a bit, but I've wanted to draw some FFT for years!

If I did youtube essays in untapped niches, here's a few that'd be awesome:

My buddy Max Brown's new album hit today - I've been a fan of his for over a decade now, since I first saw him and his band play at SXSW forever ago.

If you like passionate piano ballads telling epic tales, you'll love this album!
