The Sylvie character is perfectly cast! I love her old-school luxury values. Yes, I'm enjoying the scenery too - cobblestone streets, narrow alleys, pastoral country scenes, classic street lamps and wrought-iron balconies. But mostly I love the fashion.

I love it - setting is a huge part of the appeal. Paris is a dreamy postcard. The clothes are bold and playful. The eccentric characters also add to the fun. It's pure escapism! And my country hates Trump.

I haven't seen this one, but I can't imagine it could be more devastating than Hachi, which destroyed me. Even my husband was crying at the end.
