For the past 5 years, #LWCF funding provided by the Great American Outdoors Act has increased hunting & fishing access across the nation without using taxpayer dollars but now the Dept of the Interior is trying to block #LWCF projects with an damaging secretarial order.

The osprey nest seems to be emptier with each passing day. Luna and Hope are spending more time off nest, practicing their fish catching skills. We may only have a few more weeks with the osprey family before they begin to migrate south!

Our Project Manager, Logan Stenger, has been able to participate and monitor one of the largest stream restoration projects in his career: 4,000 feet of stream restoration, 13.5 acres of riparian buffer and over 2,000 trees planted.

The results are in for this year's baby bird names! The two osprey sisters have been named Luna and Hope. The eyas sister and brother are Betty and Pickles. Lastly, the heron siblings have been deemed Dino and Harry.

Thank you to everyone who participated and helped name this year's baby birds.

Sad news to report out of the osprey nest. Unfortunately, the youngest chick expired not too long ago. This could be from a number of reasons: dehydration, heat, hunger, etc. Though sad, these things occur in nature. We'll remember this little chick!
