Retired early, mom, grandma, soon to be great-grandma, crafting, animals, photography, art, music, camping, traveling, people watching. Easy going until you keep getting in my face or I see you harming or disrespecting others.
It can be dangerous for some Canadians anyway...they may get stopped while in the US and sent to a detention camp if someone thinks there is one little thing wrong with their VISA, passport etc. I don't blame them.

I found your shop on Etsy....another great one I get to follow! I love your carvings! My brother used to carve walking sticks with a pocket knife, a little sandpaper and a nail file. He had to stop because he is too weak from his cancer. It is a lost art.

My dog had a horrible disease and the vet said I would need to make a decision but he would not make it for me, I would know when. At one point I called, then called back and cancelled. A month later I called again. Hardest thing I had to do. My vet knew, listen to the vets and your heart.

In my little town in NY we had a coffee shop that also sold home made pies, biscuits etc., sometimes had local live music (2 man guitar/violin) and in the back there were couches and chairs and any kind of book you could think of just to sit and read. They went under in less than a year. I miss it.

I've done it....no one even blinked. I did it by accident. Walked into the restroom, saw the urinals and stalls and thought oh well...I gotta pee. My sister got a good laugh. No one, not even the men, thought anything of it.

As my hubby says, he was the strongest, most invincible man I've ever known. He truly was an American hero and our hero. I hope we can continue to make him proud.

his fists were still clenched. We don't know what happened. He wasn't sick, all tests were normal. No stroke, no brain bleeds, blood work all normal. He didn't pass peacefully even though he was on morphine and ativan. I am having a hard time with his passing. My heart is hurting.

Because I had just had surgery and had an open wound on my throat my Dr. suggested I not go at that time. I was able to see him Oct. 31. He was no longer responsive, struggled to breathe and had his fists clenched. Nov 1 at 12:30am we got the call that he passed. We went to the hospital,

He slipped gently out of his hospital bed at home and onto his knees. When we tried getting him up from the floor he started screaming. When we tried to change him he would scream in pain. I can't get the screaming out of my head. We got him to the hospital and every test was normal.

I am having such a hard time with this. The man never got sick and if he did you wouldn't know. A few years ago he fell and once at the hospital they told us he had Covid. No symptoms at all, just treating him for the fall. Never had a cold, never got the flu. And then this.

took turns going over to help him with meals, changing him, helping him shower etc. He loved to sit on his porch and talk to people walking by and visiting with the little kids in the neighborhood. Oh the stories he would tell everyone. He always had dog biscuits ready for the dog walkers.

I agree and the sad part is it is the majority of my family/extended family.
