Just think of all the those over the last 150 years who walked by and admired this tree - Keynes, Ramsey, Wittgenstein, Russell, and even the likes of you and me.
Story about the feat that was the removal of the iconic 180yo beech affected by two fungi and hence no longer safe. I picked up some wood chips for my garden (hopefully without the fungi)
