I remember this. I was 11 years old and just starting to pay attention to the political campaign. JFKs trip to West Virginia was covered extensively. I was hooked on politics from then on.

landed me in a nursing home for 2 1/2 months where I wasn't able to walk, wasn't allowed out of my bad without assistance, etc. I missed everything. But I did take the opportunity to talk back to MAGA nurses and celebrate Kamala Harris's campaign with the nurses' aides. (A clear racial schism.)
