My concern with a nationwide primary, especially a closed primary, is that those voters have little bearing on the general election. Hoorah, Biden won South Carolina and gets the nomination. But South Carolina never votes Dem in the general.

The Democratic party doesn't deserve her. She's a party unto herself, and I want to join it.

Mayday Party. We need a non-oligarch party. The Democratic party is a non-entity in red states. It's not possible to rehab their image. People voted for Trump because they want to see change. We need to offer the change the Dems were unwilling to provide.

So many of us turned away at the door. I parked a half mile away, so I can't imagine the number of people who gave up after finding no parking.

Sadly, I think rural America is so decimated they will hardly notice. They went for Trump b/c they didn't think they had anything more to lose.

Really! He knows better. I still think his appointment is just to open up the Florida Senate seat for a Trump crony. He probably stuffed his scruples in a drawer so he lasts longer than Jeff Sessions did as AG.
