😉 Perhaps it’s timing, organizers, and maybe cost this year that’s made it a lesser event. 2025 is turning out to be a dumpster fire year like we haven’t had in a while.

Is it me or have festivals, events, etc. lost their magic since Covid? Something is lacking. It’s probably that it costs a lot of money to have all the add ons. I also think fewer people have the bandwidth/time to volunteer to run these events

Thanks! I’m getting geared up for an event in a few weeks and I’m trying to keep things simple because I have a small table space. My books are the real attraction. They are motivating me to put effort into good graphics and setup. (This is my practice setup. Books will be upright).

I’ve been doing this for 10 years and I still feel like every time I do a new book cover, or an artwork to support writing, or photos - whatever - it’s like the first time I’m trying it. Thrilling and fun, but also a little scary. 😉
