In 2000 I got to meet D’Angelo briefly at an autograph signing at Macy’s in SF when he worked with Levi’s. It was peak Okayplayer years and, like a dork, called out, “Okay, player!” when it was my turn. Staff told us he wasn’t personalizing any autographs, but he did for me. RIP D’Angelo.

Been using the Goods Unite Us app to help understand where my money is going. If you haven’t tried it they research companies to figure out if their corporate donations swing left or right.
