Proud Canadian, mama, wife, graphic designer, artist. Very private. Dipping my toes in this platform, hoping it is filled with real news from good citizens on this beautiful blue planet. Might post things I’ve made.
According to Quebec language laws Santa will no longer deliver gifts to English-speaking children. Père Noël to deliver 50% more gifts to French-speaking children. The penalty to Santa is jail and anglophone parents are to pay huge fines that lead to bankruptcy and homelessness (sarcasm not sarcasm)

I don’t think my nervous system can handle any more news from the US. It’s all so incredibly and deeply disturbing. How are Americans are able to sleep at all. How do they function day to day? Is daily life normal at all? We really need to see some light at the end of this tunnel.

Buying Canadian is easy. Rather than ordering through Amazon, order directly from the Canadian company. The price is generally the same. The only difference is waiting a few more days for delivery.

As a liberal supporter it would be nice to see amendments to the budget that replaces o&g support with climate focus and uplift renewable energies. I want a beautiful future for my daughter and less short term gain for the extreme wealthy. I’m not alone with this sentiment

I just finished listening to Virginia Giuffre’s memoir Nobody’s Girl and it is more heartbreaking than imaginable. I need to sit with my feelings for a while.

Canadian federal politicians who spread misinformation are a danger to Canadian democracy. This is how it happened in the United States. We can’t let it happen here.
Please sign petition e6679, which addresses this problem.

Why so much corruption? Like, MASSIVE amounts of it at the top of most governments. Was there no love and nurture when these people were children? Were they never introduced to compassionate human beings? No morals, zero kindness. Blind to decency. Weird how greed trumps being famous for doing good.

US republicans just made their country mighty ugly.

I thank my lucky stars I’m a Canadian citizen. The bullshit coming from the US na*zi regime is so horrific how will the good citizens dig out of it? Seems like a lot of hard retaliatory work ahead. Way past the simple resistance part 😞. The ‘buy Canadian’ movement looks is a nothing blip compared.

Ohh it’s a *very* exciting election day everyone! I hope you make the most of it! Maybe treat yourself to a fancy beverage and pastry? That’s what I’d do today because I sure could go for a mochaccino and an almond chocolatine. I rewarded my early vote with a tall cool Guinness. And we had a bbq.

Every time a politician lies there should be a huge consequence — get heavily fined, the money immediately disappears from their account then goes straight to their opponent’s coffers. That way there is a big incentive to stay honest. The winner’s money then goes to charities. A spectacular race.

I cannot wait until this election is over. The good guys better win or I might have to be medicated into oblivion. Knowing that so many Canadians don’t believe, understand or don’t care how bad it could be is mind boggling. I remember the Harper years and this time will be a gazillion times worse.

For the love of all that is good in this country, please vote. Canada really needs you to cast your ballot.

For a guy that goes on and on about change, a rollback to remove the ban on single use plastics is absurd. Change should mean innovation so manufacturers can pivot the industry, not to pollute more!

Despite encouraging messages from our PM at both debates, my anxiety is through the roof. I worry that the 25% (roughly the correct amount?) who continuously receive mis- and disinformation will not vote for someone who truly has our country and their best interests at heart and in mind.

Listen to your intuition. Women know it speaks volumes. If you get bad vibes he’s not the one. Those spidey senses tingle for a reason!

Holy moly the French debate is such a speedathon there’s barely any time to finish a thought. I’m going to have to rewatch.

I listened to both interviews. One was genuine, the other not so much.

Please vote.
