This is a self-portrait in my Halloween costume, after I got home from my DJ gig (was very tired).

I am wearing a loose black linen dress with European folk embroidery in shades of blue against the black. I am holding a stuffed goat in my arms. My eyes are closed because I am exhausted and I have fake blood around my mouth, similar to the character in a scene in the show. In the background is my apartment with a lot of art and colour knick-knacks on the walls. I have green hair and colour earrings and green framed glasses and I'm wearing a sparkly brooch as part of the costume.

I'm holding my phone which I'm using at the moment for text to speech and showing the text of my question on the phone screen to Jann Arden. I also am wearing a sunflower lanyard with some AAC 3d printed communication cards that I made. One of the other fellow autistic interviewers in the background in a green shirt. The far background is through a brightly lit window onto some trees outside the room we were filming in.

This is an acrylic #painting on canvas that I completed recently. I very rarely paint with acrylic, so I'm still learning a lot and experimenting.

The main goal was trying to not be so perfectionist, which I've struggled with a lot, and to paint automatically, trying not to plan ahead much.

The photo is of an abstract acrylic painting on canvas, that takes up the whole frame of the photo. The background is very textured and messy with a layers of light yellow and darker yellow and orange and some pinks as well. There is a lot of texture and energy and the brush strokes are visible and some is done with dry brushing so you see texture of the brush and canvas. There are 5 objects in front of the background, two in the top left and right corners and two in the bottom left and right corners. The ones at the top have rounded cloud like edges and are painted with a reflective bronze paint and are dericated with dots and splotechs of purple, white, blue and orange paint. The ones at the bottom are more rectangular with some curved parts and triangular cutouts and are painted with a vivid blue paint and have some smaller patches of purple and orange. On the bottom of these object there is many strokes of white and blue and purple layered over each other with heavy textured strokes that look a bit feathery. In the centre of the painting is a bold red textured circle with a blue x or cross in the centre and blue circle around it with some dots and tendrils of red sticking outside the circle.

#watercolour and ink plein-air sketch of our woodshed on Mayne Island that I made last week during a visit to the island. 🖌️

Attending my first furry fandom convention, Fur-Eh! this weekend. Yesterday was so much fun!

The amount of passion and creativity put into everything I saw was inspiring!

Definitely also reminded me of the pure fun/play and inclusive vibe of rave culture in the 90s and early 2000s. #PLUR

Here are some of my photos of the beautiful Act NOW rally for disability rights, today at the Alberta Legislature
