Pokémon the Series: X and Y
I don't always agree with the writing choices of this one, but when it's good it is REALLY good, and I was impressed how much I came around to some of the characters, I even left liking a Pokémon I used to dislike. Makes me wish I didn't fall off early into Gen 5's anime

I can't articulate what it is, but I feel like this lost a lot of the magic of the original show. A lot of stuff wasn't hitting the same and I can't say why. It's certainly a fine show and has merits, and I'm glad to see it back, just wish I was more into it.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer Season 1:
Y'know despite me mocking Whedon humor a lot nowadays it actually goes over very well here. Very fun to watch show that is so of its era and you can feel how influential it has been just by watching, lot of fun seeing a character like Buffy grow through the show.

Idk much on DoA, but you can really tell how much this would go on to influence RWBY with how it's choreographed. For being made by one guy essentially, incredibly well animated and dynamic. Had a sort of Subspace Emissary vibe to it almost. I would've liked seeing the end product.
