Knives loves his idealised version of Vash, and will do anything to shape him as such. He’s done that in Trimax, he did that in ep 11. He’s messed up and I love him. <3

I don’t ship these two for the record, but it is made completely obvious that Knives does the stuff he does be A) he hates humanity and B) he needs his brother, and wants to twist him into his ideal ver of him. It’s a sick and twisted love.
