Not sure I can tell the difference visually, but it certainly felt easier to get a good looking finish with the yellow.

I hear basecoating with pink makes yellows more vivid... so I guess it's time for a learning experience, see if I feel like it makes any difference.

Some things could absolutely use some touching up and my highlighting is straight up amateur hour, but for being my first time on a mini that isn't just one color I'm pretty happy.

And he's done! Dry brushed a layer of lighter blue and then white and I'm really happy with it.

Humidity was finally in the right range to go out and prime some minis. First time. Probably should have let the can warm back up inside longer between switching out the minis, lesson learned. Looking forward to painting Iceman first.
