I get it, I’m thankful to be Canadian but our freedoms here are tenuous too and not ever to be taken for granted. We’ll see who wins our Federal Election on April 28th!

I am proud to be a ‘nasty Canadian’ and all of this 51st state garbage is no joke. Im very proud of our people, our country and our Prime Minister, Justin Trudeau, God forbid we should ever become a part of the US. As our PM said, we love our American cousins, we don’t love DJT.

Now there’s a question! I’d guess you are on a quest for the Holy Grail? While you may have learned the lessons needed lifetimes ago, I believe that this one has it’s own conundrums; always new questions to be answered, new problems to be solved. At least I hope so (and with grace of course!)

Heartbreaking and now what? I’m curious about the amazing stories surrounding these breakthroughs and the difference they could make to a nation, a people and to a life. I hope that a number of folks chose to cover this in a way that helps people to see through to the heart of the matter.

What remains as the GOP is now under the thumb of Trump and his ilk and as such is an embarrassment to and the antithesis of what an ethical political party should be in representing it’s people. At least this is what it appears to be to this Canadian who cares about my American neighbours.

In my mind, Christmas is about more than making Christmas about Christ, yes on one level it is a celebration of the birth of Christ, it is also a celebration of the coming of the light, of human kindness, and of giving of ourselves to others; those we hold dear and our fellow human beings.
