We're working on a bunch of RPG assets including some character sprites. When we release them later this year, they'll be bundled with this character maker to allow you to make your own variations! #gamedev #pixelart

We've now made 6 biomes for our 2D platformer graphics pack! We're aiming for 12 in total, which will mean over 700 tiles included in the pack PLUS characters, enemies, backgrounds & collectables. A little way to go yet though! #gamedev #digitalart

We're working on another game dev asset! This one is a tile set for making metro maps - very niche we know. Maybe the kind of asset that inspires a mini side project rather than one you hunt for specifically! #gamedev #indiedev

Monster Pets - 123 sprites of 117 monsters. The monsters shown are a fiery ostritch-like bird, a fat pink tardigrade, a woolly mammoth with a scarf, an icy-looking dragon, a purple blimp with a face, and an electrified tapeworm. Bonus Retro Monsters - 110 more monsters, 96 x 96 pixels in size all on one sheet. They have a colour palette similar to that on really old PCs.

More new sprites today! In our first update to our inventory icons graphics pack, we've added a handful of autumnal/halloweeny sprites FREE for commercial use. The 28 new sprites bring the total in this pack up to 204!

Here's a comparison of the base pixel art with and without the smoothing shader. Tbh, there's not a huge difference I think it looks good either way. Might even put an option in the settings for pixel art purists to turn it off.

It's made in GameMaker, and while we're going for a low poly 3D kinda look it's actually pixel art with a smoothing shader over the top. Taking some inspiration on visual style from @sokpop.co - especially Rubna's games!

Half Myself is a chunky, stencil-like font. The thick strokes, solid shapes and partially-cut lines give it a distinctly metallic feel which would be well suited to a sci-fi game or perhaps, as shown in the thumbnail, PUMPING IRON. There are two styles included with this font, straight and slightly slanted. Manic Germanic is an old-school gothic blackletter font. It could bring a certain level of class to your designs, whether you’re making a logo for your local newspaper, or forging your very own ancient documents. (don’t do that). (unless you want to). Moustache You. The name and the thumbnail playfully lead you to perhaps the best use of this vintage looking font: the logo for a barbershop, or maybe a pub. You can just imagine this font on one of those faux-chalkboard signs right? Swansong is a grungey, eroded, and almost icy feeling font – it may be perfect for any upcoming wintry projects you have.
