This was a great essay! I had to read it because I'm in a meeting 🙃. The contradiction at the heart of capitalism is that capital is social. It isn't private. Treating a social resource like it's private is the source of economic inequities, IMHO. Without the collective, the individual dies.

I get where you're coming from, but you're simply not correct. Most people in DSA would take exception to someone asserting the bourgeoisie should retain control of the means of production. Liberal democracy refuses to acknowledge the social nature of capital & is in opposition to socialism.
