The game got 8th place for gameplay and graphics in the YRGB 2025 competition, which I admit is not very high, but people like it.

Dog's Life isn't mainly a platformer, and platforming is not its strongest suit, but I suspect you'll never ask which dog simulator on the PS2 was the best (and no, it wasn't the only). Silly, janky doggy fun from the creators of the Elite series.
