Oh and depending on where you live, there’s also some European streaming services that have the episode online a few hours after they air. For example, for me, in Germany, Wow (basically Sky) has them available about the same time as Hulu gets them. So it might be worth doing some research on that 😅

When the gift card is used up, the Hulu subscription is paused until you purchase and redeem a new gift card (or technically add another payment method which is not possible for us Europeans). There are instructions on how to do that online. I hope this helps! (3)

Hulu is a paid service but it is technically only for US residents. When you want to use it internationally, you need a good VPN and if - you don’t have an US address and bank account - an alternative payment method. That’s where the gift card comes in. (1)

No, Hulu adds the episodes a few hours after they air. I live in Central Europe and could always watch the episodes at noon at the latest…

I use a VPN to watch it via Hulu. In order to do so I have to purchase online gift cards to use as payment for Hulu since it’s only possible to register with a US bank account number. It works well though and that way I can contribute to the official streaming numbers, even when not watching live.
