Do I expect this work to be cited alot? No. But I do hope it sheds some light for those curious but unsure how to get into this field. Its what I would have liked to see when I started this journey 7 years ago. And I am happy to hopefully help others along the way

I pushed at the end of my PhD to include a final summary chapter that discussed these techniques. I wanted to provide an entry resource for those curious about the field to show what techniques are out there (while always encouraging reading the original literature)

I was new to the field of colour science when I started my PhD, and was overwhlemed/impressed by the different ways you can collect and analyse colour data.

As I began my journey, I started keeping track of all the different techniques, and what they could/couldn't do

Not sure about PhD positions, but for postdocs and faculty positions, the eco evo jobs spreadsheet is pretty good!
