/3? I lied I have one more thing to say on this. The main reason I’m making this post is that I heard of secondhand copies of tomodachi going for way too much money, I checked it out and sure enough $100+. glad I got into this game before all that because why?? Great game but it literally sold 6 mil

Example: the cd of I brought you my bullets by MCR has been marked up a MINIMUM of $40 averaging more like $90 because people think it’s rare and the internet has compounded this idea. However any research will find thousands of these were made. People are confusing the normal copies with the (2/3)

& one more thing, I saw someone on Reddit have to nerve to say it’s “fine” if the jewel case comes cracked because it served its purpose of protecting the cd. okay sure cd cases are easily replaceable but let’s not normalize companies that can fully afford good packaging doing this stuff

zillion billion dollar company can’t figure out how to ship CDs but literally everyone else can. some random guy on discogs can. some small indie label can. It isn’t even that hard, just don’t use those cheap bubble mailers and it’ll probably be alright (2/2)

ACTUALLY last thing because I forgot to mention this but I saw someone on Reddit having the nerve to say that it’s “fine” if the CD case comes cracked because it served its purpose to protect the cd. yeah maybe a cd case can be easily replaced but let’s not normalize companies being lazy

(I’m aware War All the Time isn’t exclusively about that but the point is that there’s no reason anyone should’ve assumed this band was right leaning)

this is a band that’s made songs against imperialism, songs about how stupid homophobia is, an entire song about the lead singer grappling with his sexuality, an entire album about war being bad… and a lot of those songs are 1999-2006! they’ve been based since day 1
