Perkons is one of the best live tools I have to hash out beat layers quickly. Here I’m getting ready for some in game music. Controlled by RTPC each layer will add to or subtract from itself to create a whole song. As player gets into intense action play the song builds to its fullness.

Playing around with some cheap contact mics today. I’m hoping to get the kids playing for once to use as monster sounds in game. With any field recording and contact mics it’s always a surprise what you end up with since acoustic room resonance doesn’t exist when using these mics
