I'm similar. My taste buds will only handle so much sugar before they start wanting to give it all back, so I used to buy cases of Pop Shoppe when it was half sugar. Then they started adding saccharine (before it was banned), and not only made it taste sweeter than regular pop, but also metallic.

Well, that's disappointing. I have never been in a library that didn't want to turn itself and all the staff inside out trying to accommodate a reader's wishes.

Ask them to request an inter-library loan! They can get books from anywhere in the country...

Libraries can even get you books that have been out of print for years!

The series is in the order I wrote them. Most people have at least heard of the first one, but rarely has anyone read the entire series. If you're a fan of the Foreign Legion, prepare to wallow in mystery, adventure, and history.
