Snake River falls in Idaho: Shoshone, Star and American waterfalls. The last two were loud enough for compression to kick in with my hearing aids.

Common lipreading misconception: it's all about the lip shapes. Many sounds in speech are not visible & many words look alike so we gotta have strategies & workarounds. Lipreading Strategies class is online and starts on Monday.

A few small changes to communication and I can participate in life just fine.
I love my 1 on 1 lipreading sessions with people who have hearing loss. I tailor the lessons to their needs. It's a wonderful feeling to watch people grow in confidence and begin to advocate for their needs. I have a few openings for anyone interested.

Hearing aids aren't called "hearing miracles" for a reason. They have limits. Do you want conversation to go smoother? Be within 6 feet and face the person with hearing loss.
