like, the only woman left at the company pre-hiatus is now lead writer and she's admitted that breaking up R/C was her idea. iirc she doesn't rlly have writing credits before this show, but she's in a position to be a good scapegoat for the meaner redditor fans if the show ends on a sour note

I wish I could've been a fly on the wall for that hiatus period bc every choice from then on has been baffling. the company made some relatively superficial concessions (hired some women, got an HR dept) back then that the fans lapped up, but I sometimes wonder if AE broke his toys on purpose anyway
