I think "Atlético Madrid play anti-football, they only focus on set pieces and playing a low block" is a myth that needs to die a very timely death.
The same goes for "Spain is all about tiki taka" and "there is so much more diving in LALIGA than elsewhere".

And to round of this "when national team shirts get controversial" mini-thread, we had this in Norway in 2008 when the Norwegian flag was removed in place of a dragon.
"Dragedrakta" (The Dragon shirt) didn't even get to see one Norway match before it was switched back to the flag.

This also remind me of when Mexico tried to change their home shirts to "Mexican Pink" in 2021, as it is a color that's often associated with the nation.
