Chef, writer and lover of boots
I am entering hour 9 of what is turning into a 10 hour shift. I have a broken foot and a migraine, and it's an hour and a half past close and I'm just now starting to clean up. But it's okay. Because I have Fergie, and my queen will guide me.

"Chef, there's no jam!" He says, standing next to this pot.

*Yawn*

Am Tired. Am Lazy. Here's a photo from my recipe book. Top it with like, fried eggs and dukkah or something after and bake in a dish for 5 minutes. I dunno. Nap time.

Quick and easy this time:

Just mix soy and Worchestershire sauces and marinate some beef. I marinated cubes that I skewered, but it makes for a fantastic salad. Bacon, parmesan, onion, cherry tomatos and beef. Grill the beef, let it rest for 5 minutes, then slice and toss. Use the juice to dress!

Teriyaki chicken salad with grilled pineapple.

Cup of soy sauce, spoon of honey, spoon of brown sugar, garlic and ginger in a pot. Simmer for 5 minutes. Cool it down and marinate chicken for an hour. Save some to mix with some pineapple juice for a dressing. I added avo and quinoa for bulk.

Like a car without fuel, a chef will not work unless you fill her up with Gun and Tonic first.

Spanish breakfast bowl.
Oil, cherry tom, red onion and chilli flakes in a hot pan. Add spinach, wilt, then crack in an wisk a few eggs. Add some siracha for a bit of zing
I serve with fluffy quinoa (bowl for 3-4 minutes, strain, and fluff with fork) and some nice turkish toast to bulk it out.

Pork medallions with orange sauce, chips, asparagus and spinach.

Just sear the pork in a hot pan, deglase with some white whine, add some orange juice, cover, and stick the whole thing in the oven and you're good to go!

I marinate the pork in oil, dijon mustard, lemon juice and rosemary first.
