On further reflection, I wanted to expand on my comment. The SSA has an indirect impact on the federal budget. The GOP borrowed heavily from SSA funds to help finance the Iraq war and other pet projects. The interest they must pay does hit the federal budget.

Another misconception is that SSA adds to the national debt. It does not. Not one penny. The funds come entirely from money that is pulled from your paycheck along with money contributed by your employer.

Judge should also ask for proof of life. My concern is that he will be killed or that the delay is to give him time to heal from any outward abuse.
