It’s tempting to call for new elections right here at home. It’s really hard to believe that trump would win a truly free and fair election.

I also underestimated the impact. I expected Republicans to respect democracy and the rule of law; I was completely wrong. I'm not making that mistake a second time.

I think it will take some time for the full scope and realities to sink in to them. The damage will become apparent quickly so even the most dense should be able to see it, maybe 2 years or so? Sadly we will all be suffering for it.
