Superman: This is a hope-filled and awe-inspiring work of art that left me in tears. All the acting is spectacular and the soundtrack is top of its class. This truly encapsulates what Superman is. My only gripe is the lack of screen time for some characters. 9.5/10

Zero Year: This is Batman at his greatest. This is Batman being a larger than life hero in a Gotham more corrupt and evil that it's ever been seen as. This story is the Dark Knight's Finest Hour, him being the champion that saves Gotham from death. This. Is. Batman. 10/10

Death of the Family: There are so many layers of spectacular writing to this story that I honestly enjoyed it more than Court of Owls. This is Batman at his breaking point mixed with genuinely disturbing art and it's chilling. 9/10

The Court of Owls Saga: This story started off insanely strong, but it definitely started to fall off near the end. I love how it really takes a dive into Bruce's psych and gives us insight related to Gotham's history 1/2

The Infinity Gauntlet: This is an absolutely spectacular book of impossibly sized stakes done right. Adam Warlock was an absolute standout in the story. The art and writing are both top tier and there's a plethora of iconic moments mixed in. This is Marvel at its best. 10/10

*The New Avengers: This move is a blast filled with amazing comedy, spectacular action, and a heartfelt message. There were multiple scenes that had me in complete awe and I've wanted to rewatch since. 10/10

Kingdom Come: This book is so close to perfection that it annoys me. The art and writing is impeccable, the character dynamics are fun, and it shows just how much being of a bygone age affected these heroes. Seeing this story from the perspective of someone so simple-

NYX. This run was so unimaginably awful that I could write an essay about it, something I nearly did in my review of this run on LoCG. There are so many issues with this run that it's not even funny. Racism, mischaracterization, and queerbaiting plague this run. 1.5/10

X-force vol. 7: I quite enjoyed this run even if it's barely X-force. The character dynamics were fun and it made the most of being rushed. I also think this book handled Sage much better than Percy's X-force. 8/10

X-Manhunt: This event is a fucking mess of mischaracerization. It's meh at best and 90's X-Men level at worst. X-Manhunt Omega is one of the single worst X-Men comics ever and that's saying something. The only positive is that we're going to get to see Hickman write Xavier again. 2/10

Hitman: Blood Money: This game is an absolute blast. There's so much improvisation and replayability to it that it's insane. That does come with some downsides, though. The tutorial is god awful, the story feels like it's missing things, and the map design can be messy at times. 1/2

X-Termination: This felt disjointed, confusing, and messy. Some of the characters were fun, but it felt like a very disatistying ending to the Age of Apocalypse overall. The only upside that I can give this is that it was a nice ending to AoA Nightcrawler's story. 5/10

Hickman's Avengers Epic: This story was expansive, ambitious, and spectacular. It made me care about characters I didn't before and introduced so many fun dynamics. I could make an entire thread just going over everything. This is peak Marvel Comics and a must read for any fans. 10/10

Secret Wars by Johnathan Hickman: I love the world that this event builds. It's very unique and I plan on reading it all sometime this year. This was a beautiful finish to everything that Hickman did. The story and art are spectacular and there's a plethora of iconic moments. 10/10

New Avengers by Johnathan Hickman: This seriously might be the best comic I've ever read. The character interactions are on point, the drama is turned up to 11, and it raises a question that's like Uncanny X-Force's up to 11: How far would you go to save your world? 10/10. Genuine art.
