Today is China and Hong Kong's National Day, when Hong Kongers are supposed to celebrate the founding of the People's Republic of China. Obviously many in Hong Kong don't feel like celebrating.
This is how I spent my last national day in Hong Kong back in 2019.

An MTR carriage with protesters, some pro government older men and commuters. Just as a fight begins to break out after pro government supporters allegedly attack a member of the press. An empty MTR carriage with broken debris used during a fight on the train, including a fire extinguisher which was used covering the carriage in a white substance. Some graffiti on the window of a customer service office in Mong Kok MTR station Police appear to use some kind of gas outside Mong Kok Police Station, in some kind of attempt to keep protesters and media away from them.
