I surprised this herd of bison today. I had my hiking poles and quickly climbed onto the banks of the narrow trail. 2 stampeded up the trail past me. The rest made a u turn and ran a mile downhill. Then they blocked my path 8 miles into an 11 mile hike. I barely survived.
