Hot Toddy
1.5 oz. whisk(e)y
1 oz. honey (or maple) syrup
4 oz. hot water
Garnish: half a lemon wheel studded with cloves and a cinnamon stick
Method: Fill a tempered mug with hot water and allow it to sit for a minute or two. Empty water. Add syrup, water, and whiskey to glass. Garnish.
