Last night, my kids wanted to sleep in the living room as a sleepover, just the two of them. I’ve got to admit, there is something remarkably soothing about my morning coffee being serenaded by the sounds of my small humans sleeping.

It’s hard to ignore the terrible things in the world when folks check on you to see if you’ve survived them.
I’m fine, plane crashed on the other side of the city. I’m going to be inappropriately humming a specific Alicia Keyes song today, and hoping it was all just a horrible accident.#I’m terrible

Been down about… well, you know. My husband offered his tactic: anger at the billionaires who have made this possible. He’s right, the common proletariat does not deserve my anger, my scorn, or my hatred. But the men hoarding the power and wealth do.
