And while i feel it could theoretically be a better app, remember that it's still a social media platform. It's still a bad influence on young people. It will STILL have the same issues the other apps have, but it's not as bad yet because of the fewer people that use it

Bluesky always felt to me incredibly "safe". Not in the good way. I felt it was heavily formatted and will probably go towards the path of "NSFW bad so we will make it hard for those who draw it" with how much art gets tagged and spoilered to hell even before the announcement on the 20th

Don't wanna be that guy, but we can't always have "safe places". It should be the duty of the user, and the parents to not let their kids waltz in places they shouldn't be. Why should an artist who draws NSFW be punished bc corpo wants to think about "safety"

Twitter is a radical shithole filled with right-wingers left and right that farm engagement for the sake of pushing the agenda and gain money through the monetization Elon allows, but at the same time this app is kind of on the very far opposite, with a very formatted push for a "safe place"

It's an incredibly formatted space. Very "safe". The sort of "Oh..i'm feeling uncomfy" if you're speaking about something that's like actually important or needs genuine nuance

Like not to be a party crasher but it's a bit funny how this app is kind of a nothing burger. And no, it's not even about the attention seeking funny haha bot accounts that farm engagement. I mean just feeling alone the app feels INCREDIBLY normie
