technically, it should work! the only hard requirements is the "Wayland" windowing system. which can easily be enabled. and I have not tried it myself on Ubuntu, so I can not say anything. but Waydroid docs have instructions for Ubuntu and derivatives: docs.waydro.id/usage/instal...
