Excited to share the work of Xyrus & Eunsoo! TIdeS uses the GC% of different codon positions to distinguish species, but it works pretty well for detecting potential contaminations. Both transcriptome and genome (CDSs) can be used, so please check out this paper :) academic.oup.com/gbe/article/...
