Join us on Monday, November 17, at 3 pm in 217 Noyes for an alumni lecture presented by John Bartels. Bartels earned his BS from the department in 1989 and joined BP following his graduation. After 35 years with BP, he went on to launch Potential Energy LLC, his own consulting and coaching company.

Research done under CHBE professor and Institute of Genomic Biology theme leader Huimin Zhao developed FAST NPS, a new method to accelerate the discovery and scale up of bioactive natural products which have been a model for medicine and pesticides.

Zylle Constantino spent the spring semester of her sophomore year at a co-op with LyondellBasell after applying at a career fair.

Zylle's favorite memories were climbing to the top of a 150ft tall distillation tower and seeing the inside of reactors that are normally sealed.

Shane Manion interned at the Tesla Gigafactory during the Fall of 2023. He was on the Cell Engineering Team building battery cells that were later installed in electric vehicles.
