Poseidon embarked upon the long sleep this week, so we thought it might be nice to treat Neptune and Calypso to some fresh greens while they adjust to his absence. The little finger carrots we planted this year came in well, so they got about half of those with what was left of this year's lettuce.

I don't know what I'm doing at all with them - I was going to to learn from the person I bought them from but this summer has been a disaster for scheduling... So I kinda just put them in soil and hoped for the best.

My first dahlia! 😍 This one is called night silence!
