Charles Lippincott (1939-2020) is known for marketing Star Wars. He was involved in the film industry and was an avid jazz collector. He leaves behind an archive of Star Wars, Alien, Judge Dredd, etc.
Y’all should know Star Wars was created during the Vietnam War. Who do you think the Rebels were? Yeah, Luke Skywalker, Han Solo, Chewy & Leia were fighting against the Empire, against the War Machine. George Lucas, Gary Kurtz & Charley Lippincott were on their side — the Resistance.
